Rotation Description:
The clerkship provides students with direct patient care experiences in internal medicine with a focus on infectious diseases. Students will be expected to participate in daily rounds with the Critical Care Team, attend noon conferences, provide drug information to other health care professionals, initiate and monitor drug therapy with an emphasis on applying principles and practices of infectious disease pharmacotherapy.
