Description of Academic/Research Interests
My area of academic/research interests are primarily in supportive care of oncology patients. I initiate and develop research protocols to evaluate innovative treatments and to improve current practice to optimize the care of oncology patients. I also collaborate with my medical associates in developing protocols or participate in multi-center trials to assess the value of new treatment options in various types of cancers. As the Leader of Southwest Oncology Group Pharmaceutical Sciences, I serve as a senior leader to guide for all pharmaceutical related-issues in the organization.
